Re-Engineering/Conversion
- Review functionality of existing systems including legacy systems
- Develop plan for Client/Server Migration including Data Conversion Plan
- Define Application and Database Architectures and Conversion Staging Area (CSA)
- Develop Logical & Physical Database Models and Business Process Models – CASE Tool
- Select appropriate hardware and software technology for implementation
- Engineer Client/Server Application and integrate with other systems (internal/external)
- Develop Deployment Plan for Client Workstations and File/Application Servers
- Train personnel in the use of this Customized Business Application
- Establish a Change Request Mechanism to manage the Software Maintenance Activities
