Approach
CTI's Management Approach consists of one basic principle: commitment to deliver computer/multimedia based solutions on-time, within budget, and within schedule.
Project Management
CTI organizes, plans, and controls projects by tasks and activities.
Each project is designated a Project Manager and a Contract Administrator who have the administrative authority and legal representation for CTI's contractual work. In some cases, the Project Manager hours are billable to the client.
On projects involving more than one person, a Task Leader may also be designated to carry out the technical aspects of the project. All tasks will be associated with a deadline that is realistic to both the client and CTI's Project Manager or Contract Administrator.
Activities within a task are also delineated to track responsible person(s), scheduled starting/ending dates, and actual starting/ending dates. A progress report of the tasks and activities can be made available to the client upon request.
Policy
Corporate policies and procedures are geared to conduct business in a "consulting" mode. These, primarily consist of completing the contract work while meeting the client's objectives. This offers enough flexibility to clients so that consultants work directly under the client's supervision -- at their disposal and as an additional member of their staff.
Deliverables
All contract deliverables are identified up-front so that CTI consultants can carry the necessary tasks to completion within the time table. A change in contract deliverables must be submitted in writing to the Project Officer in charge so that all schedules can be adjusted properly.
